WHAT ARE WE ABOUT
We are a church plant that is simply about following the word of God with no excuses. We believe that we are called to humbly submit our lives to God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are committed to doing just that. We study the word and follow the word.
WHAT We Care About
We want to see people come to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Salvation is found in no one else but Him. Therefore, we not only are committed to learning the word but we are committed to sharing the word of God. Only in the Bible will you find the true words of God.
WHAT We will not do
While we are committed to teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus Christ, we will not compromise the word of God in order to gain numbers or acceptance. We are convinced that many once solid churches have compromised on important biblical positions in order to gain favor with the world.
A BIBLICAL CHURCH
We are a church that simply follows the Bible. By this we mean that we believe that the Bible clearly teaches against such things as women preachers and pastors. The Bible is also clear that homosexuality and gay marriage is wrong along with all other sexual sins like adultery. If you believe that the Bible allows for such behavior and practices then The Cross Church is not a church for you. Furthermore, we are a church that does not believe in speaking in tongues or prophesying or those claiming to be apostles and prophets. The Bible is sufficient for the teaching and practicing of our faith.
NO APOLOGIES
FOR TRUTH
Many today are ashamed and embarrassed because of their biblical beliefs. Not us. We know what we believe and why we believe it. Therefore, we will not apologize for faithfully following our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we will not apologize or be embarrassed to faithfully proclaim all that His word teaches. We will not apologize for standing on the truth of God’s word.
